Wish to appoint:
 

A Church Director of Music (Organist and Choir Director) /
School Choir Director (Tutor)

who will be able to further develop the music within worship in the church
and within daily life within the school. 

We have an enthusiastic RSCM-affiliated SATB church choir who undertake regular cathedral visits and a lively music group who play for our more contemporary services.  Our local church school at its last SIAMS and OFSTED inspections was rated outstanding.  The school choir attended the annual young voices experience at the O2 and visits local care homes.

The key requirements of the post are sympathy with the Christian faith, experience in training choirs of all ages, an enthusiasm for and knowledge of varying styles of church music and the ability to play the organ to a high standard.  Further information is available here.

Remuneration - Church Choir Director RSCM guidelines: Weekly Services and Choir rehearsals, specific requirements to be discussed.  School Choir Director £30 per hour, 4 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.  This post could lend itself to employed or self - employed appointment
