WELCOME to Little Fishes, the Christian pre-school group for babies, pre-school children and their parents and carers, at St Mary of Charity Parish Church.  We meet each Thursday morning during term time between 10 am and 11.30 am.

Everyone is welcome to join us at Little Fishes.

When you arrive at Little Fishes each week we ask that you sign in.  On your first visit we will ask you to complete a short registration form.

The morning follows a loose structure, including playing with toys, craft activity, a time for a drink and snack with a story and then sharing a song and prayer together.

We do not make any admission charge, but we do welcome donations towards our group.  Your donations pay for materials for our craft activities and for the refreshments.

We really hope your time with us is fun and enjoyable as you get to meet new friends.

Little Fishes meets during school term time only and so there is no little fishes during half term, or between terms.

This term started on 25 April 2019 - we came back a week early so we could say goodbye to our curate, Rev Simon Young.

Our programme of events is:

25 April:       Colouring St George pictures

2 May:         May Pole

9 May:         Planting Seeds (plus books)

16 May:       Smile, please!

23 May:       Playdough

Little Fishes starts again on 12 September 2019.

Little Fishes relies on volunteers.  Please let us know if you would like to join the team (we are all DBS checked by the Diocese).

We have a Facebook Group so if you are on Facebook and would like to join please either search Little Fishes in Groups and ask to join or befriend Dennis Parrett or Rebecca Millington and we’ll invite you!  We have kept it as a closed group and limit what can be posted but we use it to update people when we can.  The activities are all listed on this page.

If you have any feedback on how we can make our new website better please do contact us. We would like to hear from you.
